Mission Community Outreach Center is an ecumenical, volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving low-income individuals – in Jesus Christ’s name - with items FREE.  We need donations, so we ask for your  help and donated items, money, or time in the following programs:

Walt Shields Infant Center For Spokane County :

Baby formula (all types), baby cereal & food in jars (#2 & #3), shampoo, lotion, disposable diapers (#1 – 6), wet wipes, baby Blankets, cribs, strollers, high chairs, car seats, and Folic Acid for woman and expecting mothers.

Personal Care Items (U.S. Food Stamps do not cover personal care items listed below.)

  • Toothpaste & toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner, combs, deodorant, bar soap, razors, shaving cream, feminine care products, toilet paper, and laundry detergent.

Clothing & Shoes Bank (seasonal)

  • Infants, Children, Teens, and Adults (regular, petite, and plus size) items in good condition.

Families of Domestic Violence & Home Fire Victims

  • Household items (cooking pot & pans, flatware, small appliances, etc.) - No furniture.
  • Bedding, blankets, comforters & stuffed Animals (no mattresses).

Seasonal Programs

  • Back To School Supplies & Backpacks (K-12 grades).
  • Back To School Clothing/Shoes & Coats (K – 6 grades.
  • Christmas Toys for Elementary School (K – 6 grades).

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Greeters at front desk and computer operators (Mon., Wed. or Thrus 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.).
  • Sorters of donated items to stock tables/shelves (times we are closed).
  • Drivers to pick up and deliver donated items,
  • University, College or High School Students doing Community Service hours.
